Chigi designa los golpes que llegan en trayectoria circular o descendente, a diferencia de jireugi que es rectilineo. Incluye golpes con el dorso del puno, el filo de la mano, el codo o el puno martillo. Su potencia proviene del recorrido curvo y del latigazo final, no del empuje lineal.
