Do-San (도산) is the pen name of patriot Ahn Chang-Ho (1876–1938), an educator and fighter for Korean independence against Japanese occupation. Its 24 movements represent the 24 years he devoted to the national cause from his exile. It is the Tul for 7° Gup (yellow belt with green stripe). It introduces the knife hand strike with open hand (sonkal taerigi), the lateral hook strike, and the cat stance (gojung sogi), as well as the first simultaneous double attack. It is the first Tul where the practitioner combines attack and defense techniques in rapid sequence, preparing them for the green belt grade.
