Ge-Baek (계백) honors General Ge-Baek of the Kingdom of Baekje (660 A.D.), who before marching to his final battle against Silla killed his own family to prevent them from being enslaved. His 44 movements represent strict military discipline and absolute sacrifice. It is the third Tul of 1st Dan. It introduces the double flying kick (twio sang bandal chagi), the palm pressing block, and the first sequence of four continuous kicks. The straight vertical diagram reflects the general's moral rectitude. It is one of the most demanding Tul in cardiovascular endurance at Dan level.
