Ko-Dang
39 movimientos
Original Tul number 15 of the Chang Hon system. Replaced by Juche in the ITF-Vienna. Ko-Dang was the pseudonym of Cho Man Sik, a Korean patriot and religious leader. Some ITF factions maintain it as an alternative or complement to Juche.
Ko-Dang (고당) is the original historical Tul number 15 of the Chang Hon system, replaced by Juche following the division of ITF federations in Vienna. Some ITF branches, particularly ITF-C under Choi Jung Hwa, maintain it in their curriculum. Its 39 movements honor Korean patriot Cho Man Sik, a pacifist leader of the independence movement. The pattern is considered a bridge between General Choi's original tradition and subsequent modifications. Its practice represents a point of debate and diversity within worldwide ITF Taekwondo. It forms part of the optional curriculum for 2nd Dan in some federations.
